Cultivated at 1,200–1,600 meters above sea level in rich volcanic loam soil, the Bourbon, Typica, and Catimor varieties thrive in conditions that few places on earth can replicate. The result is a deeply satisfying cup — dark chocolate and molasses up front, with a warming sweetness of brown sugar that lingers long after the last sip.
